I picked up a Gisselle trigger on sale from PSA a few years ago and put it in my PSA build. My DD came with a CMC trigger upgrade installed. Makes a big difference on both.

The only thing I bought this past year is a Ruger 22 Charger pistol. Then spent over 2 times more on a brace adaptor, FS1913 brace, mags, red dot, and various upgrades. 10/22s have nearly as many possible upgrades as ARs.

Good stuff. I really, REALLY, should upgrade my old Ruger 10/22. Plan on picking up a replacement factory magazine soon. I've owned that old rifle 40 years. It would sing with CCI ammo on squirrels back in the day.

So if you bought this

the only only thing you have to have is this right?

$460 + tax for a starter build seems pretty good.

Had a Ruger 10/22 but sold it to try and take up the guitar. Wish I would have kept it.

My Charger (10/22) is similar to this one, except mine has a small Sig red dot, a Magpul MOE K2+grip, and I don't yet have a suppressor. Also, I bought 7 BX25 mags on sale. The one in the pic is a smaller 15 rounder. Very fun to shoot.

Here's one for a little more that comes assembled with everything. Not sure on the magazine though.

KyCatFan, you'll need a set of punches to assemble that lower. It also helps to have a mag well block and a vise. I recommend watching a video on the build to see what is needed. They make specialty tools for nearly every build step, but you can get by without all of them.

That’s also a 11.5” “pistol”. Not a 16” carbine.

You can absolutely build a PSA lower. You can also catch complete rifles for not much more.
Yeah seen that. There's some extra laws to deal with it seems with the pistol ones (stock/brace, shoulder/not shoulder, barrel length). Read something about a $200 stamp you have to have for certain ones.

Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store, not a government agency.

Ironically, the ATF is under Dept of Revenue, but Biden wants to change it to Justice Dept so they can screw over the 2nd Ammendment with less representation from congress. Just more proof that our government originally had no intention of restricting gun ownership as they placed it in the money making department, not the legal/regulatory department.
