South Carolina football drops out of AP top 10
Following a win over SC State, South Carolina football maintained a prominent spot in this week's Associated Press top 25 rankings.
And just like that, we are out of the top 10

We didn't belong there in the first place. No biggie!
Exactly, just win and they will be right back in. Too soon to worry about that. Taters should not be though!!
Pollsters obviously did not watch the game. Otherwise we'd be out of the top 25 altogether.

The only ones I have a problem with are Penn St. - but that one is iffy - they belong in the top 10 but not #2. They ain't done anything under Franklin, ever... that ranking is absurd.
Miami doesn't belong that high either. They beat a weak and annually overrated Notre Dame team. That's it. And Noodle Lame - I grow tired of the national media circle jerking over them. They're not that good. They rarely play anybody - on purpose, and when they do, they get beat. Either way I don't really care. It's only week 2 and I'm very worried about Vandy.

If we were unranked before the season, these two wins would not have gotten us into the polls. Kinda silly.
If we show up against Vandy, we can say that we belong. Until then, it's pre-season hype.
Yeah, just another example of why preseason polls are silly. We haven’t looked like anything resembling a top 15 team.
