McGowan reportedly made a big financial pledge to the university, helping it keep Sitake.

Now, however, Bloomberg states that some Crumbl franchises “were turning profits so meager that one unexpected expense could send them tumbling into the red.”

Wow, was it that important to potentially risk your business and those employees’ jobs to save Sitake as a football coach at a school you never attended? I am very happy with Campbell and was my original #1, but I’m also certain that Sitake would’ve done well too.

Couldn't read it due to my adblocker, but churches generally want the money going to- them
The debate was about spending money on things which don't matter in the whole spiritual scheme of things. But you're right. Many felt the money would have been better spent on other more tangible things which would have a real positive impact. But since I'm not a spiritual guy..... 🤷‍♂️

Not to worry, petty James will bail them out while focusing on trying to antagonize his last employer.

I have found Crumbl Cookies to be rather mediocre. To be fair, I’m typically not a sweet tooth, so I don’t eat a lot of baked sweets, so maybe I’m not the best judge. I suppose their cookies are fine, but I guess I was just expecting to be blown away by the experience considering the pub and the price. Not at all the case.

Or put another way, since their leadership appears to be driving them into the ground, I wasn’t going to miss them when they’re gone regardless.

I eat a ton of sweets and Crumbl cookies are not very good….too much cookie. They’re like eating a cookie paper weight.

I believe we are incredibly lucky that Sitake declined in the end. Campbell is most definitely the right man for the job and we'll see that in the coming years.

If the Eagles don't win today they'll need to call out the National Guard. I wonder why they can't learn to be more forgiving and grateful like us?

Unlike all the fine, upstanding, extraordinarily successful and eloquent fans that hurled slurs at him and his family in Beaver Stadium.
So glad to be rid of him. :sneaky:
Now, how long until we torch the new guy?
No doubt in the 107,000 fans that attend the games there are going to be some low class a**holes that hurl slurs. That does not give Franklin a pass to become a troll to the university that stood behind him for many years and made him a very wealthy man. IMO, his inability to rise above the low level trolling is a character flaw that I did not see while he was a PSU coach. It is pathetic.

Pretty common sentiment in any divorce. I'll bet his opinion is similar on PSU.
Let's not pretend PSU made him rich. He was the hottest coach on the market when he came to PSU. I think he might have found employment elsewhere.
We conveniently forgot PSU was in the midst of the 2nd worse sanctions in the history of NCAA football when he came here.
Also, he'll average 10M Per for the next 5 years elsewhere.
Someday both sides might mature and admit his tenure was mutually beneficial. If character flaws concern you, I'd be focused on Pat Kraft. He's still at PSU.
