Outstanding player. No doubt about it. I always thought that he and Junior Miller, both from that same era, could star for any Husker team.

They were both a generation ahead of everyone else size wise with how they played.

Met him a few times, always upbeat, so much living life. Last time I seen him he was working at the pack in Crete. Did he not lead the nfl in rushing one year?
