LOS ANGELES – Ben Stiller's fashion-world comedy “Zoolander 2” hasn’t hit theaters yet, but its two-and-a-half minute trailer has some calling the movie sexist and anti-transgender.

Benedict Cumberbatch, alongside Stiller and Owen Wilson, plays an androgynous-looking model named “All” in the clip, which has some saying the film makes a “mockery of trans people.”.


An activist for the LGBTQ community, Sarah Rose created an online petition calling for a boycott of the film, stating: “Cumberbatch’s character is clearly portrayed as an over-the-top, cartoonish mockery of androgyne/trans/non-binary individuals. This is the modern equivalent of using blackface to represent a minority.”

We also have to end apartheid for one. And slow down the nuclear arms race, stop terrorism and world hunger. We have to provide food and shelter for the homeless, and oppose racial discrimination and promote civil rights, while also promoting equal rights for women. We have to encourage a return to traditional moral values. Most importantly, we have to promote general social concern and less materialism in young people.

It's pretty amazing and simply a product of progressive agenda.

Trans make up 0.03 percent of the population. Homosexuals make up maybe 3 percent. Blacks make up 12-13 percent of the population.

However, these three groups have the loudest activists.

I haven't seen the movie and I doubt the people that are upset have either.

I don't know from first hand experience but I could see it being pretty difficult growing up and existing where you are an extreme minority.

If you were LGBT or your child was, I would think you might reconsider your position on their position.

No, I call people out on total hypocrisy and fake outrage BS. Everyone else is afraid to be labeled. I'm on a message board. I'm not picketing and storming restaurants, schools and other places to ***** and moan about someone hurting my feelings.

I just enjoy pointing out the inconsistencies in racial coverage by 99 percent of the media and the irony of someone crying about racism and then continues to project "white guilt", blame an entire race for their own failures and then calls for the hiring and enrollment of people simply based off of the color of their skin.
