This upcoming weekend teams should have the option of having a controlled scrimmage. If they have large numbers and feel it is not needed, then stay with your own team. I am surprised this has never come up in the football advisory minutes.

And I will say it again that it is a GREAT idea in 2018.
Trouble is no one listens to me! Except the dog at home (and that is only sometimes).
For the life of me - I don’t know why they don’t allow this? Maybe not enough demand from teams/schools for the IHSA to invest time into?

Back in 1970’s early didn’t they have a O’Rama like Indiana used to? I know Hillcrest,Bremen & Tilnley played that in place of week 1 & then only 8 games instead of 9
