Oh noes, we tried to practice more and players wanted to practice more.

Whatever shall we do?

What is the NCAA gonna do? Take away our 2020 wins and give us a bowl ban this year? Laughing

Pretty sure we all don't care as long as this team THIS YEAR is actually competitive each and every week.

Bowl game? Pfffft. Beat somebody of note in any week. I'll take a win over Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, or even Iowa as our bowl win at this point in time.

You must be a wonderful parent. Only keep the rules you deem important, the rest, just violate at will. Of course you will want the same treatment when it comes to you.

Ha.

We'll get our penalty.

Just last week, the raping at Baylor didn't get a single thing handed down to them by the NCAA, but please, go on about fairness and parenting.

Nothing better than an "I heard" post from someone with 3 posts (two of them right here). I mean this sincerely: who cares?

I understand calling out hypocrisy of the NCAA by bringing up the Baylor example, but I think using it as a line of defense isn't a good look. If what we did was wrong, let's take the punishment and promise to avoid issues in the future. That's what accountable leadership looks like.

I think it's relevant to point out that NCAA bylaw enforcement is a joke. The Baylor situation is a great example. So sure, take our penalty (sternly worded reprimand letter?) and move on. If we get any more punishment than that it'll be the newest example of the NCAA being an arbitrary joke.

Here’s the thing, I don’t care who the source is. Are we supposed to be mad at the person who does the right thing and reports cheating???

Did they give us a punishment yet? Just seems we're putting the cart before the horse.

Should Baylor have been punished more for their crimes? Maybe. Or maybe it's a criminal case to be dealt with by the police and not the NCAA. Trust me, I'm not defending Baylor, who I have publicly accused several times of at least looking extremely suspicious. How this private baptist school in Waco went from death penalty to somehow having the top women's basketball program, a top baseball program, an NCAA championship men's basketball team and a top 10 football team makes no sense to me.

Nope and probably won't. The only active investigation is the analyst and it will probably be a slap on the wrist.

Average NCAA investigation takes about 18 months. The bigger issue is that this kind of BS doesn't get out at other top flight programs. That's probably why all the coaches hire who they know, because situations like this they're trying to avoid.
Is it game week yet?

Where exactly did I say we shouldn't take our lumps?

We practiced too much? Really?

Who cares? Can we just beat somebody of any kind of relevance again?

In all fairness, is that in the perview of the NCAA to investigate and punish?

To be honest, could they punish our program more than what we have done to ourselves over the last 20 years?

We've been on Faber College double secret silent probation since 2002. Hell, us fans didn't even know about it till years later.

Only thing an NCAA sanction could give us is an excuse for being so **** awful.
