Another Defensive thread

So after watching the 6 games a couple times, the one thing that really bugs me more than anything is our DBs never turning around and looking for the ball. Yes I know that they sometimes get burned, but usually they are an arms length from the WR. They basically only shadow what the receiver does and rarely try to make a play. I guess my question would be is this on the DB coach or Banker? If warren was retained, would our pass defense be rated last in the country?

I don't think there's one thing you can put your finger on and say oh that's it. It has to be a mix of coaching, scheme and talent. Good coaching disguises lack of talent, and superior talent disguises poor coaching. So is it the scheme?

I think the scheme doesn't help, with no safety help I'm sure our CBs would rather make a sure tackle than roll the dice on an interception
