Hey guys. New poster here....kind of. I used to post once in a while as Battier31 but I havent been here in years. I have been tate12 one other boards. (I was a big Tate Armstrong fan) Been a Duke fan since 1964, when I was 10. Spend lots of fall Saturdays at the Wade and support all Duke teams.

Looks like a great group here!

Welcome and have fun. Tate was one of my favorites also. Lots of Duke fans have forgotten him but he could fill it up from anywhere. OFC

Thanks, guys! Really liking everything I am seeing here. Looks like the site is a great place to come to for good discussion. Looking forward to being here. Yeah, Skysdad, Tate brought us diehards through some tough times in the 70's!

There was a major spamming problem a while back that attacked all of our boards. The football board and off-topic board were the main casualties because there just wasn’t the traffic there is here, unfortunately. It was easier to shut them down rather than monitoring them.

New poster here, too. I, honestly, usually read the EKF, but this one has grown on me!

Had to make an account today to talk smack on RR. They have more threads dedicated to Duke than we have on our own forum here!

You can't reason with them....even indisputable facts get twisted, spun, and baked.....or if they can't figure out a way to do that, they just start spewing insults, wishing referees and coaches dead.....they can't even get along with each other. I've never seen another board where the fans insult and belittle one another as much as they do. They are pissed about going to the NIT....pissed about Duke beating the team they couldn't beat in 2015....and pissed about K handing Cal his *** on the recruiting front

Agreed!

I’m about 110% (UNC math) that they talk about Duke so much because they want to be us! Coach K is on fire. Everyone knows his retirement is coming ... he keeps snagging players like this, he won’t retire!

... after reading RR a little bit, I’m sure I’d rather watch games with a UNC fan over a Kentucky fan. I really thought UNC fans were the best at making excuses. I’m dead wrong!

That had been debated on this board.....which fans are the most obnoxious....I don't thInk it has been settled yet, but my vote lies with kensucky.

I rarely go over there....I feel like I need a shower when I leave! I just went over tonight to see them belly aching about the UVA game....I won't be back over there for awhile.....it just feels dirty!

I saw you posting there and noticed the only thing they could say back to you is “something something something ratface”.

I love how they are convinced we had an easier UVU game because they had to fly before their game with us.

I’m definitely going with you on the Kentucky vs UNC fan debate. They are just unbearable and none of their arguments can be backed up with any stats. They were all “omg this season is over” after their first half last night.

I do love seeing all their threads dedicated to Duke, though! We are clearly doing something right!!
