I don't know but maybe stay away from Epstein.

On a perplexing subject, home prices are continuing thru the roof. Buyers may be seeing improvements this year because interest rates are dampening demand but the American dream is looking bleak for new home buyers.

In AZ, the govt and investors are building apartments everywhere. I guess it gets people housed but the rents are sky high.

According to Chat GPT, the US population has grown 22% from 281 mil in 2000 to 344 mil in 2025. The US birth rate is 1.6 children per woman compared with 2.1 needed to get to equilibrium, so it isn't organic growth. Biden supercharged immigration by inviting any "migrant" that wanted to come with a big welcome sign. There are consequences for existing citizens when he (his handlers) did this. Not just crime, but schools, housing, pretty much anything that involves governance.

Trump just keeps getting it done. Yet another thing Kamala wouldn’t have been able to do

This is interesting. We will have increased demand on a shrinking beef industry, with already high prices. Hopefully this works out long term, and ranchers will be encouraged to grow their herds. Difficult to do in some areas, with high costs, water restrictions, etc.

In other words, 2/3 do have a criminal record. I thought non citizens commit less crime…

Only around 1/3 of American citizens have a criminal history.

So some couldn’t vote against a party that trafficked 450,000 children into the US. And some voted for an additional 500k to be trafficked.

And then we get post 187 about Epstein from the person who “cares”

One of us has posted about him in this thread.

You would think people who want to protect people from being trafficked, would also be for huge penalties for those trafficking them. Right now the 2nd part is missing.

Too bad we can't afford American beef in our stores. Steak is up about $10 and burger a couple of bucks per pound.

Curious to see how this shakes out. Unless we invest heavily in increasing the cattle herd, prices are likely to continue going up.

Only 13% think the government has been open and transparent about the Jeffrey Epstein case, while more than five times as many, 67%, disagree – including 60% of Republicans and 56% of MAGA supporters. One voter in five says they haven’t been following the case.”

This is something that the entire country cares about. It’s not some fake news Democrat witch hunt. I guess a few of you are in the 13%.

Yep! Pretty useless degrees overall.

John with his BS in Computer Science from USNA and his Master's in Cryptology from Maryland had a hard time getting a job thru normal HR interviews. They couldn't understand what a Top Secret Security Clearance meant. Nor could they figure out why he spent 10 years flying a plane ? (10 years Active Service, REQUIRED from NAVY for Pilot's.)

I had his resume forwarded to a boss at a world wide computer company biggie. "If this resume is correct he's hired ! When can he get up here for his interview ?"

He drove up next day, had the interview and was hired same day, for 6 $ figures !

We had lunch; "Dad you don't have to worry about me anymore !"

But I still do...

The only thing I've heard is that his boss asked his unit to respond to 40,000,000 attempted hacks.

"We've already cleaned up the hacks.", John stated just before he was promoted !

Well, in some cases it takes time to turn around the disaster that was your boy Joe Biden. The idiot wreaked total carnage, and you said NOTHING. Now, 6 months into Trump, Trump is responsible for the high price of beef - which was high when Biden "left" office.

As always, Trump will fix it. I'm not sure if you joined the deranged crowd on liberation day telling us how inflation was going to skyrocked (it didn't, it actually went down), the stock market was going to collapse (it didn't, it is AT record highs), and recession was certain (it isn't, the question now is how big will Q4 be).

Trump has been a great success, so feel free to tap the bulging retirement account of yours to pay a little more for beef thanks to Dementia Joe!

There isn’t anyone in this thread that doesn’t want the traffickers/clients to be penalized.
Yep, and the 2 loudest Epstein "guys" were unwilling to vote for Trump who is putting a halt to the Democrats and Biden's largest human trafficking organization in history. The ones squealing the loudest are the ones least likely to take a stand.

I want to elaborate on a post I did yesterday in reaction to housing prices continuing to set records. My argument was that Chat GPT said the population has grown from 280 million in 2000 to 340 million in 2025 and the replacement birth rate was only 1.6, so we were creating the housing price spike by adding so much immigration.

It turns out this increase is more nuanced than I posted. I asked Chat GPT how much of the increase was from immigration and it said only about 50%. Here is their explanation:

Why Natural Increase Still Occurred (2000–2025)

  1. Demographic Momentum
    • The U.S. had a large population of women in their prime childbearing years, especially among immigrants and minorities, who had higher fertility.
    • Even with a declining birth rate, a large base = lots of babies.
  2. Lag Between Fertility Drop and Death Increase
    • Birth rate drops affect long-term growth, not immediately.
    • Death rates remained relatively low until aging boomers began dying in large numbers in the late 2010s and 2020s.
  3. Immigration Effects
    • Immigrants tend to have higher fertility, especially shortly after arrival.
    • Children born in the U.S. to immigrants are counted in natural increase, not immigration

So, they count babies of immigrants as natural increase and the declining birth rate is an average, which is higher among immigrants and and even lower among citizens. What they do say is the natural population growth rate (how they measure it) is finally approaching negative in 2025.

So I'm going to stick with my original point that the immigration policies or lack there of are a contributor to high housing prices - supply and demand. Inflation and insurance rates are 2 others but I really am concerned about a whole generation of young people being stuck in high priced apartments. It is what is happening here and probably everywhere.

Again, I want everyone who committed crimes (the act itself or the trafficking) to be hammered by the law. I don’t give a $h!t who’s on flight logs or who vacationed at the island- by themselves, those aren’t crimes. I want every criminal involved with this brought to justice- period.

No they didn't. The whole silly claim of Gabbard hinges on that misconception. The Russians were blocked from hacking the voting machines and switching votes. You can see Obama assuring the public of that right after the election. It is of course recorded and you can see with your own eyes. So that kills the lie that Obama and his people claimed there was hacking. What they found, and Mueller found, and the Senate and Rubio, and Special Counsel Durham, is that Russia interfered with the election in order to hurt Clinton (release of emails) and running media buys in contested area. Those are two separate things, hacking and interfering, and not the result of Obama and Brenner or anyone in the "deep state" saying let's lie and say the Russians interfered when they did not successfully hack the voting machines. The entire world realizes the distinction, and Gabbard to get brownie points for distracting from Epstein has hoisted this fraud on the public.

That is reasonable, but it may be more nuanced. What about a pol or millionaire that flew on the Lolita Express with minors being trafficked to Lolita Island. But the Pol or millionaire doesn't touch the trafficked minors, but sits around the pool and has extravagant meals and drinks, while Epsten and Maxwell and the other pedophiles abuse the minors. Is that a crime? Certainly worthy of rebuke and ostracization.

Yep. How many took financial gifts from him, knowing what he was doing, who he was doing it with, and didn’t say a word?

This is why some might not want it exposed.

How about those that had any interaction with him or socialization, after he was convicted in Florida(and given the sweetheart deal) and prior to his arrest some years later. They had no doubt what he was.

Ya, Trump and the GOP are trying to distract from everyone's known pedo Bill Clinton(whose weird picture hung in Epstein's NY place), who is marched out by the left at the DNC regularly because...wait for it....He still polls great by the Dems. Y'all love him! BC is/was a predator of young women.

You are so onto what is really going on. So smart.

I don't need to read a report. I know that steak has gone up about $10 per pound in the last month. I shop every weekend. I use to be able to buy at $12-$15 per pound. Now it is $22-$26. This is in the last 4-6 weeks.

Ok, you love saying everything non-Epstein is a distraction. What was the Sleepy administration’s distraction? They didn’t say or do jack $h!t for 4 years! Also, they could have used “Trump is in the files!!!!” as a weapon against him in ‘24.
Again, you TDS sufferers are certifiably insane.

I call complete BS. Here in metro Detroit, prices are stable but have risen significantly since 2020. They haven’t gone up at all here since Trump took over.
