This is the trash that is educating our children.

A special education teacher in Minnesota has been placed on paid administrative leave following a tweet over the weekend that appeared to encourage followers to kill new U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The teacher has been identified as Samantha Ness, a paraprofessional at the Alliance Education Center in Rosemount.

One of my daughters dyed her hair blue in HS. My wife gave me some good advice, "We're going to have bigger battles than blue hair before she leaves home. Let it go." I did. At least she didn't shave her head or get a tattoo?

You'd be surprised how little training or screening most teachers aid's have. They let my half-sister become one after a brief series of classes and a test. She didn't last long, she quit showing up after the first couple of months. Too much responsibility or bad hangovers, your guess is as good as mine.

Says "paraprofessional"......so I'm saying NOT a certified teacher probably.......and that school, is it a public school? With the name it has, kind of sounds like something else.......

In most states it's something along the lines of taking a few classes, taking a test, and passing a drug screen.

A lot of people get into thinking it will be an easy gig. It's not. You've got to have determination and the ability to work with a room full of young kids going nine different directions at once. It doesn't pay that much either. I understand there is a lot of turnover.

The lady who lives next door to me has been the library aide at the local elementary school for ages. She's always talking about the shortage of aides due to low pay and burnout.
