West Virginia picked up a commitment from defensive end Zeiqui Lawton who is transferring from Cincinnati. Coming out of high school, Lawton had a top-five that consisted of Boise State, Oregon, Illinois, West Virginia, and of course, Cincinnati.

Lawton redshirted this season at Cincinnati and will have four years of eligibility remaining.

Seems to me that we have traded up for the most part, maybe totally. To me a proven commodity is better than a high school senior more often than not, especially if they have 2 or 3 years left. Most of the players we've lost help in game preparation much more that in actual games. I feel bad for the ones that no one picks up.

you forum athletes are a riot. The 24 recent scholarship players transferring out were all lauded by you arm chairs as saviors for the program. Now they were terrible. Make up your mind. Allen you're the worst. in addition the team had a lack of depth. Now twice as many leaving as coming in. How's that suppose to work morons? Maybe if the lightweight running the team would focus on football and not fake social justice then the program would be in better shape.
