Evans commitment moves OU up to number 7 on the Rivals recruiting rankings, and number 5 on 247. There are still four or five really quality recruits that are OU leans, including a five star defensive tackle.
With OUr head coach and OUr DT coach, I think you'll see a lot of that for a few years.
My money is on Makari Vickers committing to OU also, in a few hours.
Venables has exceeded everyone's expectations this year by a mile including the cfb pundits etc. We all heard how Venables wouldn't be able to recruit and would have to settle for leftovers. I think the last 10 years Venables learned the player personal developmental that we haven't had at OU in forever. His chosen staff has been really lights out.
