They should not have signed him to start with. They knew he was a issue. OFC
I disagree. AB is being condemned before there is any credible proof that he is guilty of anything of a criminally abusive nature. There are plenty of facts which could be rationally construed that the alleged victim is making this up. The fact that another alleged victim, years later, says she was offended by alleged conduct that made her "scared" is not relevant to me. Guys like AB are targets, sometimes deservedly so, sometimes not. Without any credible evidence of a pattern of proved abusive conduct, he should not have been punished for something for which no one will ever know he was guilty. If the NFL can't come up with something else, it and the Pats should let the civil suit play its course before they castrate him. Female accusers are not always right, morally or factually, because of their sex. I have AB's back. OFC
My understanding was he was released for sending threatening messages to one of the accusers. If true, that's a boneheaded thing to do.

I think AB is being condemned because he’s acted like a complete idiot the last 10 months. Now these allegations may not be true, but the threatening text messages to his accuser and family members is over the top. I think we can all agree that AB just isn’t a very smart guy. Being an idiot has a price.

Good point dj. He's not playing football because of something he's been accused of going that hasn't been proven. He's not playing because of what he did that was beyond doubt. Now it's going to be interesting to see if he ever plays in the NFL again. OFC

Apparently not. Heard last night the XFL released a resounding statement that said they were not interested in signing him.
