Any info on Kueter injury?

Reading between the lines of this quote from Tom, it sounds like Kueter wanted to wrestle but Tom thought it wouldn’t be smart so didn’t have him weigh in.

Did he get hurt in practice? I believe I read that he had off-season surgery. Did that surgery not go well?

Except that Tom wouldn’t know “if it’s already in hand” at weigh ins. So yeah, he’s injured and it’s early in the season so it’s not worth the risk.

Reading the quotes again, maybe he is saying that Gage Marty wanted to wrestle but they thought it wouldn’t be smart to risk aggravating whatever caused him to injury default yesterday? That might make more sense given Kueter didn’t even weigh in.

From what I heard Keuter tweaked something (perhaps in the Bellarmine meet when he just laid on the bottom the entire 3rd period…?).

I think it’s smart to hold him out. We need him healthy in March when it matters most.
