You & I may not, but there are many in the football building that like the Howell/Fuller/Augustave combo. Hear tell Briles is really into Augustave, which is why he hasn't transferred after not hardly seeing the field last year.
Hopefully we now have coaches who will actually play the best back(s) and get the most out of them.

Yeah, and have an OL that can open holes and also make it so RBs don't have to be great blockers.
If there isn't a bonafide starter, there's no point other than depth. Most guys want to start that are worth going after and any of others are not better than what we have and still want to start/get paid.

I doubt we're in the mix here, but hypothetically, I think adding that piece makes us a CFP team next year.
I agree with you, I really doubt we are in the mix for him, probably has a high price tag too, but I do think we need to sign another rb.
We only have 3 RB's on scholarship and haven't landed a HS RB in two years......this will be 3 years.....
