I came across this magazine on eBay that I missed out on getting when it was released back in 1994 while I was in the Air Force and worked on this aircraft.

Bought a shadowbox frame and a piece of lattice fit nearly perfectly around it. Then put some foam board to fill up the empty space behind it. I got an M1 Garand last year and a Turkish (couldn't get the USGI version) bayonet for the M1.

I have a challenge coin from my plane as well. I've been wondering if it is in poor taste to buy more challenge coins? There seems to be some that I could have gotten but didn't (like graduating basic training, completing training at some bases, there's ones for your rank, Squadron, Command, etc.). So not sure if I should look into those or not.

I have a few patches and stickers from my time at Offutt AFB. Plus my BDU and flight suit name patches. I also bought a bomber jacket in basic with patches of all the states I was stationed in on it. Been a long time since I could wear that. I'm way to heavy for it. I don't really have much else besides my service cap and various pictures.

I display the coins I received throughout my Air Force career. Additionally, I have a setup in the mancave of diecast models that were produced for some of the aircraft specific to these units at bases I was stationed at, 149th Fighter Wing F-16 Fighting Falcon, C-130J-30 Super Hercules 815th Airlift Squadron, and a C-17 Globemaster, 164th Airlift Wing.

Grand dad was on Iwo Jima. When he died the only thing I made sure I got was his shell box with all his ww2 photos and Iwo collectibles. Got a Japanese knife and canteen along with some letters and money. The photos are mostly pretty normal but he's got some that make you understand how bad that little island was.

Got a WW1 German rifle. Dad was in Italy during WW2 and by that time the railroad police were using WW1 weapons. Dad was sort of a designated hunter for the guys. He used to talk about killing King Mussolini's deer to feed the guys. He used that rifle then and after he got home.

Hmm my grandma still has all of my Grandpas stuff. I’m sure there’s some service stuff up in the attic. I know she still has pictures and letters from WW2, I assume she still has anything else he didn’t throw away a long time ago. Hell his ship got hit by a kamikaze and he got some shrapnel in his arm (nothing serious, didn’t even report it) and he kept it in a cigar box.

My grandpa was an electrician on a destroyer so he never got involved with anything on land. Don’t think he was too upset with that

I've got a shadow box my wife made for my father's military history. My dad was in the the 2nd wave of the Normandy invasion. The box has his military picture, his discharge notice and service bars.

My dad has his father's uniforms and .45 from WWII. Officers were given the option to buy their government issued pistol at the end of the war. I have my gandfater's metals and a few other items. My dad also has his own .45 from Vietnam.

As far as collectables, my dad has a poster sized picture of the Enola Gay signed by Col. Tibbets and several other crew members.
