Meh. Starocci had a tendency to keep things close and that was the year Starocci was injured anyway. PLus he made the finals by beating Edmond Ruth and Lenny Wolak, hardly a murderer's row. We'll see, though. I think the other guys are a cut above, with McEnelly probably the best of them by a hair.

Vombaur about to scrape by on the tiniest of hairs. Savvy wrestling by him. Gives up a TD late, reverses him VERY late and with just enough time to push RT over a minute.

Antrell Taylor down 7-0 going into the 2nd. Pretty sure he was pinned and they didn’t call it. Now it’s a long delay. Didn’t have the volume on so don’t know what’s going on.

Rozynski standing right in there with Taylor, up 8-1 off that big move going into the 3rd. We're going to see some BS stall calls, lol.

I didn't say he wasn't good. I'm just not totally sold on him being a true title threat. His previous finals trip was a product of Starocci's injury screwing up the bracket.

I really don't care if he made it to the finals beating a bunch of fish. He was the #6 seed and made it the finals as a true frosh. That's not an easy task. He got the job done. Brackets fall apart in March every year but he wasn't a #26 seed. He is a tough dude and now he's training with the master. Until I see otherwise, he's a strong championship contender at 184.

Maybe. He didn't light the world on fire, winning 3 straight 4-1 SV matches. But he still did something not many guys do as a true frosh.

Reminds me of the Jack Sparrow line...
Welsh is the worst finalist I've ever heard of. True, but you have heard of him. Angelo is just going to have to beat his arse!!!

Leo looked like his was moving around up on his feet on the sideline with no problem during the rest of the meet. Does anyone else know what he tweeked and how he looked after
