Would think the ESPN+ game (IIRC we are required to put 1 on this streaming network) would be a conference game.
It would be interesting to know what the school makes for an appearance on ESPiN+. Given that fans won't be in the stands, it would make no sense for WVU to pay $400,000+ to EKU to show up, if WVU weren't going to receive broadcasting dollars in excess of the payment to EKU.
Good point tOSU. Not only is WVU paying out the $$$, Morgantown isn't reaping the benefit of fans from both sides. Hotels, Meals, Parking, Concessions. Lots of dollars lost because of no fans.
I heard that even the FL schools are allowing over 25% capacity for their first games. If they can do it with the outbreaks they've had in FL, WV should be able to do it.

even marshall is allowing a certain attendance percentage for fan capacity. It’s simply the WVU Board of Governors and Gee trying to virtue signal that they are “protecting the players and students and fans“ when in reality it is a political decision by them.
Marshall always has a “certain attendance percentage“ attending games. It’s called apathy. They have had this policy since Randy Moss left.

Florida CAN'T do it safely. But they can do it. They don't care if/how it affects anyone, just want to get money and pretend nothings going on.
WVU could be alot more cautious than they are, but at least are trying to limit the spread of the coronavirus somewhat.
It's irresponsible to be allowing fans when the virus isn't being controlled. (and no, not testing, not social distancing, not wearing masks is NOT reducing the spread of the virus).
If you want football and other things to come back similar to what they were, you must do what countries in asia and europe did. Lock everything down until its ACTUALLY under control (and 180,000 deaths is most certainly NOT).
Stop trying to make safety precautions some political game. People's health and lives are at stake.

What makes America great isnt' ignoring what needs to be fixed or pretending you can have a difference of opinion that a deadly disease that has killed more people than multiple wars, 911, etc. is real or not real. What will make America great is doing something about the real problems by finding real--not made up-solutions, not pretending what is in front of us isn't.
I guess you haven't read or is it you don't care to read that the Big 10 and PAC 12 have shut down all sports indefinitely. Why would they do that theres nothing to worry about since the athletes are healthy. it might be reports that the virus can affect your heart and/or lungs and it doesn't discriminate by age. I can only assume this meams that heart or lung damage could take years to detect.
Vernon may ding me for this but I wish all of you guys from both sides of this spectrum would shut the **** up and answer the OP's question regarding TV for the first game.
