Any UK vs WMU Updates?

This is pathetic. Pitching is so bad, and the D totally lost focus. Feels like they'll need to score 15 to win. Not like they have an endless supply of quality arms to begin with ...using WAY too many guys against the 4 seed in game 1.
This team can only win by putting up 10+ runs. Although the infield isn’t helping today, pitching is too weak to sustain leads, especially against regional/super-regional level teams.
We were lackluster in Hoover and not focused a week later to start the tournament. That is extremely concerning
Ming said they were really focused coming in, and they looked it for 4 innings. Problem is, game's 9 innings, and we don't have a bullpen right now.
I still think making the super regional will be an accomplishment with pitching as poor as UK has. Hopefully they can hang on today and win tomorrow so they are in a good spot.
Less than inspiring, but we'll take it. Gonna have to play more than half a game to win from here on out. 4-5 innings of focus won't get it done. Seems every host team has 1 of those, so let's hope they got it out of their system this weekend.
Georgia, LSU, and SC all had walk off victories. Vandy got blown out and Arkansas is barely hanging on in their ongoing game. Our win doesn’t seem so bad with all of that in mind. What matters a lot more is how we respond in the next game.
I disagree with a lot of the sentiments here regarding our pitching. Niman was lights out for four innings and even in the fifth they didn't hit him hard. They got 3-4 fluke hits that never left the infield. If even one of them were handled, then we maybe give up 2-3 runs instead of five and it's a different narrative.
Hogan was great. I hate that we had to use him today b/c he's our best reliever, but should be available again on Monday if we need him (and hopefully we don't have to play on monday).
As it stands, we have our two Best starters waiting in the wings for games 2 and 3.

Illinois starting pitcher pitched the best college game I have seen this year. Hope he was their best.
