Mr Bolden? I haven't heard much talk or ramblings on where he is leaning? I think he has done a good job of keeping his recruitment quiet if its intentional on his part. He would be the icing on the cake of an already great class.
I bet he doesn't go to oil spring either.think he is not deciding oil spring
Bolden will be able to come in from day one and provide a huge presence in the middle. He'd be our best option at center from day one. Maybe he's not a "must get", but he's pretty close. I wouldn't consider him a luxury recruitI think it's probably Duke or Kansas. He would be a great get, but I also don't think he's a must-get considering what is already in the stable.

Knowing K, I don't think you see Jeter play much unless absolutely necessary during ACC play. K doesn't allow players to learn in games most of the time. With that being said I see Jeter as a 3-4 years player so his minutes could jump up big next year even with Bolden as we lose plumlee and Jefferson who both play the 5 at times. I could see a 25 min for Bolden and 15 for Jeter. Then his JR year Jeter would be ready to shine in the starting role (Unless duke lands another absolute stud at C). Just my opinion. Are we certain Bolden would play ahead of Jeter? Jeter was slightly higher graded and ranked and will have had a year at Duke under his belt. Also Jeter seems to have a good attitude regardless of PT. Bolden might be slightly longer than Jeter but they seem like similar players.

That's not what Daniels said. He's said a source he has believes Bolden is a UK lean. There's also several insider who disagree with that statementDaniels is now saying he's leaning toward UK.
I seen it on Twitter and I'm surprised. I didn't think UK would be a possibility since Bam committed.
I'd have to see it to believe it. But I would love it if he did come to UK.
Agreed. We haven't seen much of Jeter, but he's had a few moments where we've seen promising flashes on offense. He's very young for his class year and needs a year to work on building strength. But I really don't think he's that far off. In fact, if he weren't behind two seniors who have been playing very well, I think Jeter could probably hold his own out there. If Bolden came, I think the odds are that he'd be backup b/c of the difference in experience. Once Jeter's body is up to speed, I think he's going to be very good.
With that said, I do think Bolden is a very important recruit for us b/c it is unclear what we're going to do with the backup 5 spot. Obi and Vranc really haven't shown anything to inspire confidence, and I'm not sure that Giles coming off an ACL tear will do very well trying to regularly fight bigger guys at the 5. While we have a ton of talent all over the roster, the 5 spot would clearly be a soft spot against stronger teams. Though the crystal balls on 247 seem to suggest that Bolden to KU is the likely outcome, Bolden to Duke makes a lot of sense from a roster perspective -- b/c I certainly think he'd have an important short-term role (particularly against teams with big 5s) and a very important role in subsequent years. While Bolden's a good prospect, he's not really in the range where he should be thinking one and done.
I've said it for a while but it makes too much sense for bolden to not pick Duke. We have the most playing time, the best university and coach of the three main contenders.Totally agree that Bolden is important simply because Giles and Delaurier at the 5 would be a mistake/desperation move. We'll need two of Jeter/Bolden to replace what Marshall and Amile have given.

That's the same thing. Daniels gets all his "inside info" from sources. He's not usually getting his info from direct contact.
And, generally speaking, his sources are reliable. He's one of the more reliable reporters on recruiting in the nation.
That said, right now it's a "lean" so there's still a chance.
Not a knock on Daniels, but there's other insiders on this board that I give much more credence to when they speakI can't agree there. Daniels is not spot on when it comes to blue blood recruiting. Had Jabari to MSU the day of his decision, had no clue on Tatum, gave out bad info with Wenyen Gabriel, missed on Kaleb Tarcewski, etc.
Not saying he's always wrong and doesn't have good sources, but just that with recruiting there are no certainties.
And finding ways to lose the big games with all of them, 2012 asideUK would really surprise me, but then again, it wouldn't. You have to give credit to Cal being able to pull in multiple top players at the same position(s).
seems at uk it would be more of a log jam for playing time....we'll see, i def want him at duke
