The buyout is 20 million now or sixteen million after the first of the year.......worth spending the extra four million and not get locked out of the hunt for a new coach

Fire now and pay this coach and it's staff 8 million a year for 4 years and then pay the next staff 9 million a year. Might as well shoot yourself now because if the next guy hired is worse or no better then you put yourself in a corner with no way out. There is no such thing as being locked out of the hunt. And the teams looking are not in the WVU area.

Hiring a coach is like Buying a stock. You never know if it will go up or down. If people want a guarantee then buy an electrical appliance.

Lyons may have to keep Clown the rest of the season to save dough, but if he's a good AD he's already getting in line to hire and getting candidates lined up. If Shane doesn't get canned, which he should, the next football coach is basically it for him. Hitting on a good one will be the only way to save his career. The diversity committee has to go too btw. Fk Shane for woking us with that garbage.
