Here I am watching the derby coverage looking at horses to bet on my TwinSpires app. I don’t bet much but derby day I usually bet all day long. I pick the horses I want to bet and look st my phone and what do ya know, I can’t bet because the race has gone off already. I live in Louisville so I’m flipping between wave3, (they didn’t even show how long it was until the race) then I go to nbc sports and all the others. Nobody had the race on that I can find. So of course the exacta I was going to bet comes in and here I am looking like a fool knowing good and well I won’t hit another exacta all day.

Anybody know how to watch ALL the damn races since NBC has decided not even local people can watch the races?

Of course, Wesley is right.

NBC began coverage at noon on NBC Sports channel.

They switched to NBC at 2:30.

During those times, they have shown every race.

(These times are EDT.)

Could the local weathermen have done a worse job with the forecast? Spent all week saying mid 70’s and no or little rain. Smh

No ****. Flash floods warning in Louisville.

Just talked to a bookie I know and he said screw the odds and favorites. Anyones guess who wins the dam Derby with the weather and field being strong.

Went to Louisville nearly 20 straight years on Derby weekend. It rained at some point in every one of them. I went to the coldest Derby also. It was right around 40°. But once they play My Old Kentucky Home, you always feel it's worth it.
