I know it ls two terrible teams but I thought it was bizarre and nobody was talking about it.

Illinois had the ball with around 2 minutes to play and near the 50, throw a pass in the end zone and they called pass interference in Michigan state. Problem is, the MSU player was in front of the intended receiver, jumped to intercept it and the Illinois guy tried to prevent him from intercepting it from behind.

They called pass interference ON MSU?!?!

So next play, with that 15 yard gain, Illinois throws it in the end zone, Illinois catches it without a defender within 5 yards to score and take the lead.

THE SAME REF MOTIONS FOR A TOUCHBACK AND THOUGHT IT WAS AN INTERCEPTION?!?!?!?! The head referee had to come across and say "the call in the field is a touchdown".

Was this ref completely confused on who was on defense?!?!? It sure looked like it and if so, the guy should be fired on the spot! He called interference on the wrong team and cost MSU the game!

Again, Im sure I'm the only person who saw it but wow! Someone tell me I'm not crazy.
