Anybody got Amazon Prime? Thoughts?

I don't buy much stuff so the free shipping is nice but not big deal (since you can already get free shipping usually but it just takes longer).

The video might be an acceptable replacement for Netflix, which annoys me to now end how it changes audio and video without you asking it to do so.

But I'm thinking that what might do it for me is "Prime Reading." If, that is, they have good stuff to read. Maybe they have just junk.

Any thoughts?

going to $119 next month...

was $99 last month...

If you order form them less than a dozen times a year... I'd pass...

Amazon is its own monopoly...

it needs broken-up...

I just saw that, which reminded me to do it soon if I want to. New orders go up to $119 per year starting May 11 so if I do it I want to do it before then. Renewals are apparently going up to $119 in June.

I like Amazon but I'm starting to think monopoly. But even more than them I'm thinking Twitter and Youtube and Facebook.

I have it. Convenient as hell. Also opens you up to the movies and shows. We even get grocery type items from it.

Prime video is pretty good. Probably not the selection as Netflix but a lot of netflix is crap anyway. Prime has good exclusive shows too.
