The talking heads on sports radio in ATL were talking about the bad "sight lines" in NRG stadium and that it will case problems for OU becuase so much of our offense is shooting the three pointer.

OU by 6.

Yeah, they said the lighting was horrible in Honolulu when we beat them 78-55.

Villanova will get their shots, they may even lead at some point, but I think this OU club has that intangible that spells doom for anyone from here on out. It's like a mission with these guys.
Besides, all the fear is with Nova, not OU.

This is a heavyweight bout, Earlier in the week I was thinking Nova by 11, The more I thought about it the more a double digit win for any team won't happen. Nova has grown since the last time these 2 teams played as has Oklahoma. The game will come down too can Villanova turn Oklahoma over and get some easy buckets in transistion. Can Villanova contain Hield somehow and not get scorched by Cousins and crew.

Keys to Nova winning this, Slow the game down, guard the 3 point line and cause turnovers. If Nova does this, I really like Nova winning this. However, If Hield gets going early and Oklahoma turns this into a track meet, Oklahoma will be playing Monday Night

Prediction:
A little bit of both from what was typed above will happen but Villanova's balance and defense will beat Oklahoma. Hield has good numbers but not good enough.

Villanova 76
Oklahoma 68

This is coming from a Villanova fan, Did you expect something differently? Should be a great game. Whoever wins this game though, I will be pulling for on Monday night.

I may stop in here during football season, I was rooting for you hard in the football playoffs, I wanted to see Oklahoma vs Alabama in the Title game.

The key to this game is "can OU play disciplined BBall?" If we turn the ball over 15% or more of our possessions we get beat. We need to keep our dribbling, passing and inside RB game controlled and precise. Traveling, bad passes and out of position on RBs will kill us. Kruger needs to use his time outs to keep the team focused. Keeping Nova out of sync is key and the best way to do that is score often and quick. I think the stage is far too big for OU to not be disciplined for any length of time. If they bottle up Buddy then Ryan, Cousins and crew needs to light it up. OU 88 - Villanova 84

Interesting fact: Toby Keith went to school at Villanova ( 1 year) and has an Honorary Degree.

I expected you to come in here with a resounding "BOOMER SOONER". Maybe after the game? LOL

17 turnovers = 37 points! You can't do that against a team like Villanova and expect anything more than an *** kicking....which is exactly what we got,

Good thing I had other things going on during the game. At the time I wish I could have watched the game, but then hearing the result I am thankful I don't have any memory of watching a beat down of that level.
