Sorry for the post but I have to take my son to South Oldham Middle school in Louisville (yeah) for a wrestling match. Is anyone familiar with that area? Being in Louisville is it a decent area? And yes I will be decked out in all UK gear.!!!

South Oldham is in Crestwood IIRC and is a fairly new school. It is in a pretty good area to live in.
I went to middle school there in the late 80's. Crestwood is nice plenty of UK fans. Its easy to find.

All he was asking if anyone had a little input on the school and the area where it's located. How you made the determination it was a stupid question says more about you than the OP.

There is nothing going on in Oldham County that doesn't go on in NKY so you'll be fine. And if you do venture further into Louisville you will be amongst tens of thousands of UK fans, more than in NKY even.

It's not in Louisville. Oldham county is where people in Lou want to move so their kids don't have to deal with the screwed up school system in Jefferson co
I'm an Oldham County High School grad - the high school split right after I left; my brothers and sister graduated from SOHS. But I did go to South Oldham Middle school. I grew up in Crestwood and am still living in Oldham County.. South Oldham Middle is NOT in Louisville - it's in Oldham County. You take I-71 North to the Crestwood exit #14.

Crestwood is in between Lagrange reformatory and the Pewee Valley womens prison. Its a safe area as long as there arent any prison breaks and you avoid commiting a felony.
