Anyone else hear about this protest?

I just got a call from a friend who has held season tickets for over 25 years. He says he's hearing of a protest that since the team doesn't show up until the 2nd half, the fans shouldn't either. Fans are being urged to sit outside the stadium and not enter until halftime. I doubt it will get much traction, but found it interesting.

If your friend has connections to "ICE" then it's probably feasible.

Obviously, that would be interesting. Obviously fans will have to do what they think is right. Obviously, The modern day player can laugh all the way to the bank regardless of their play. Obviously no accountability is a problem but obviously that won't change.

That’s sounds like the many protests against Pirates’ ownership, yet that mess continues.

My brother, nephew and I are attending both the hockey game on Friday night and the football game. For obvious reasons, I’m more excited about the hockey game than the football game. At least the hockey team plays with passion and effort.

Imagine being an adult human being and thinking this makes any sense at all. Or for that matter, that buying tickets to a college football game entitles you to some level of performance by said team.

Obviously that was a tribute to James. James loves the word obviously.
@pendal1
Obviously ..................I know James' favorite word ..........

You can use the jester when:
Someone says something a bit silly; enhanced agreement

^??? Isn’t that the whole point of any type of entertainment? The entertainers entertain in exchange for fan support and fan $.

as Gladiator said: “are you not entertained?”

PSU Fan Base: “No. No we aren’t. Goodbye”

You've got to be kidding. The program and university are constantly asking for money so the program can be successful and you don't think fans/donors should have expectations relative to performance.

And they have talent, an identity, and coaching!

I don't like whats going on with the team either, but that protest is a bit childish.

Interesting. I’m debating whether or not to show up again at all.
even during the dark years, I looked forward to going to the next game. Never thought it would happen, but I am in no way wanting to go this weekend, I am truly just sad.......

Nothing has changed in 40 years and now you don't like what's going on?
