I was talking with my best friend over the weekend and he mentioned people in the NFL and he was laughing at how it was like a foreign language to me.... If it was about anything or anyone new since 3 years ago ... I just dont know. And its of course because the Rams were tanking and then indeed left St. Louis.

Was anyone else STL Rams fans ? and if so did you just give up and start hating the NFL like I did or do you root for someone else now? I was a chiefs fan before Rams came to STL but I just cant bring myself to watch the NFL even with the chiefs due to how dirty they did STL and its fans... tanking for like a decade just to leave is low... ...

I'd be interested to see if anyone became a fan of a different team or if there just aren't many people that followed the rams.... but since there are several STL Cards fans I figured a few might of also liked the rams back then.

I have always been a Rams fan from their days in LA to St Louis and back to LA. Fan from the days of Jon Arnett, Roman Gabriel, fearsome foursome etc.

If you were never a LA rams fan why would you be a STL rams fan? The team didn’t change because they moved to a new city. Conversely if you started out a rams fan they are still the same team now back in LA. I was a STL card fan before they relocated to Arizona in 89, hated their departure but remained a fan of the organization and still a fan today.

If I recall the cardinals relocated because they couldn’t get support from the city to build a new stadium but then turned around and built one for the rams. The cards belong in St. Louis IMO but now are stuck in the desert in a retirement community where most of their home games are filled with opposing teams fans. The Denver game this year was embarrassing as they had probably 60% or more of the seats.

No. I do not let little **** upset me. if i like a product (NFL), i watch it for the competition and amazing athletes that play the sport. I do not give a rats *** what politics they have or what Billionaire owner does what.

Pretty simple really, game comes on, i turn it on and watch it. By the way, been a Cowboys fan since i was 5 (46 years), i would not care if Jerra moved them Pakistan and they wore Kerchief Hijab wraps under their helmets and Jilbabs as their uniforms.

I remember when the Chicago Cardinals moved to St Louis to become the St Louis Cardinals. I liked them and followed them. When they moved to Arizona I lost interest. I could never get into the St Louis Rams. But now I have pretty much dropped the NFL and all professional sports. Collegiate sports and out door activity take up most of my time.

I lived in the StL area for some 14 years...but I could never get into indoor football. We went to a preseason game and left at halftime because of all the piped in music and noise. We never went back. Plus, when the Rams were there, you were stuck with them on Sunday's unless they played on Monday or Thursday night.

I think Art Modell moving the team from Cleveland was the biggest FU in NFL and likely American sports history.

In 1993 Baltimore had put together the sweetest financing deal in NFL history to acquire a team. Modell voted against it saying that Baltimore shouldn't have a team because they had already lost their Colts team to Indianapolis. The expansion team then went to Jacksonville.

Then two years later Modell took the sweet deal from Baltimore for himself.
