Getting one Thursday...made the mistake of watching the video of the procedure, even though from all I hear and read it is a piece of cake once you overcome the thoughts....

One of the guys I work with has to get one about monthly.

Not something he looks forward to, but not something that kills him. If that makes sense?

I’ve had a couple of steroid shots. Seems like they applied a numbing substance beforehand. Didn’t feel much beside pressure.

You’re good, don’t worry

That is the general consensus...thanks.

@funKYcat75 ....retinal issue that requires this. Hopefully this will do the trick.
The best to you cole854. I have not had one but I have been in so much pain I begged a doctor to cut me open and offered to sharpen his knife. We will say a little prayer and have faith you will get through this little bump in the road of life.

Yeah, no. I can't stand to watch someone put contacts in. I had to give them up. Just freaked me the hell out, and if you remember some of my posts, I've done some pretty horrific things.

The good news is that most retinal issues improve, or can at least be stabilized, with steroid and/or anti-neovascularization injections.

The bad news is most retinal issues that are amenable to injections require multiple injections. Good luck, dude.
