well, they beat us by 21 last year and that chuck fellow says this is going to be one of the greatest GBW teams ever... I'd say GBW -27.5
Greatest team ever? Jesus, smh (shaking my head). Hinsdale South has them week 2 and it'll be a down year for them. It won't be like last year where they went toe to toe with them. GBW will want to bully them. Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttt.

I know all CCLB teams always have a hard schedule, but BR stands out to me this year. Playing a pretty good Marist team week 1 with several D1 athletes, followed by Crete Monee, and later MC RITA PROVI AND LOYOLA. Although I expect Rice to have a good season, Crusaders could go 5-4 or worse with this schedule.
History has proven that Badke likes to play the tough schedule. It was 2 years ago he scheduled two out of state teams with a strong history of winning state titles.
How about Naperville Central? Throw the DuPage slate in with a long trip to Cleveland to take on National powerhouse Lakewood St. Edward. St. Ed's has won back to back Division 1 (largest class) titles in Ohio.

Maybe thats the quid pro quo for dropping the sucess factor or getting the multiplier down to 1.33
Thats one hell of a schedule though. Theres 5 legit threats of a loss. Looks like theyre preparing for 7A whenever that happens.
7A next year regardless of Finnish this year. And you're right a key injury or two and they could be 4-5 I'm an optimist so i see 7-2 6-3 more likely
Reasonable, I think we need to see about LZ and Maine South. I would guess 6-3/7-2 without knowing a thing. But wouldnt be extremely surprised with 8-1 or 5-4. 9-0 would be hard simply because thats a lot of tough teams to beat.
Would be shocked at 8-1 or 9-0. Tough run of teams with a few cupcakes for crossover. MS, LZ, Fenwick, BR out the gate. Could start 0-4.
If Racki was your coach, your first two games would be, shall we say, a bit more "winnable".
Can we get a preseason DSR-like ranking based solely on assumed strength of schedule? I mean, we all like SOS, it's a factor in the actual DSR, and it's most likely the only way we see a ranking without Loyola on top for a while...
Not this year. Hoping to make playoffs, with a pasting by Prairie Ridge in round 1. Going to be a rough year.

A little off topic, but I was looking at OOC schedules on Maxpreps and saw MC is playing Gary West Side. That's a head scratcher. Huntley and two mediocre Northwest Indiana teams were the only respectable opponents West Side had last year. The lost all 3 by a combined score of 138-12.
