He made mention to his time at WVU, then talked about hearing the WVU song recently and it moved him and choked him up. Not sure what the context was, to be honest, because I wasn't paying that close attention.

And Terry is looking good (health wise). Although his Akron team had this game in hand for most of the 1st half, but couldn't score but 10 points. Neither team has great athletes. Jerome Lane's kid for Akron is an athlete, but very raw. He's got the size and will probably be in someone's NFL camp as a WR.

Terry's weight goes up and down more than the Dow Jones industrial average. He's not looking that healthy unless you mean he's able to eat large qtys of food.

Btw I'm glad for him.

Much of my time at WVU was on a tutoring scholarship. Terry was one of my students. He didn't really need the help but he wanted to stay on top of his academics due to his extracurricular demands.

One of my favorite guys, he was hoot. Glad to see he's back in the game and making a success of it.

That was my 1st thought when I saw this thread's title. Up and down weight aside, he looks like he's lost a ton when you factor in the 'puffy coat.' Plus, a smile makes anyone look better. Glad he got the win and glad he gave us a mention.

Bobby was honored at a wvu home game earlier this season.

Terry is a classmate of mine from MHS and WVU. Saw him at our 2014 MHS class reunion, he always shows up if he can. I'd say his weight then as about where he was during his Auburn days, give or take a few pounds. Much less than a few years ago in N. Alabama, he was huge.

Hmm . . . has anybody considered Terry Bowden as HC at West Virginia if things don't work out with Dana?

(Okay, although a viable candidate, my question is only a joke).
