Better than expected? Worse?

Or just a decent place to take a leak?

Thinking about checking it out this fall.

Visited about 10 years ago. It was great if you're a football fan, but when I made it through I was ready to roll out unlike my visits to Cooperstown. I could walk around inside that place for days.

Went a few years ago. It was ok. I was in the area visiting a friend but if I had to drive there just to see the HOF not worth it.

Drove past it a couple times, just didn't have time to stop plus the wife was with me both times.

I went about 25 years ago. We were in town for a basketball game and the whole team went. It was pretty cool but then again i have been an NFL fan my whole life. A lot of my teammates were bored to death.

Also, I'm sure its changed quite a bit since then. Probably a lot cooler…if you're a fan.

Went last year, while I was in Canton on business.

Only had a hour or so to spend before it closed, so I thought no way could I see it all.

But, was able to see most everything that was available to see at the time, some portions were closed off for renovations.

All in all, it was okay, and as someone who loves the NFL, just wanted to be more blown away by it.

If youre in the area, sure check it out. But wouldn't make a special trip unless it just happens to be a bucket list destination for you.

That's about what I was going to say. I went 18 years ago because I was in the area doing some work. I wouldn't advise making it a destination trip.

It doesn't have bells and whistles but it is obviously a great place to visit (really a must) for any football fan. Being a baseball junkie growing up, I was spellbound at Coopersttown. Mecca for the true fan. The best HOF for kids is Basketball HOF in Springfield. Lots of interaction. Same at college HOF, now in Atlanta.

I went a few years ago and had my name put in the Hall of Fame.

(disclaimer)
While there, I wrote my name on a piece of paper and threw it behind one of the display cases.

I was in Atlanta on business earlier this year and visited the College Football HOF because it is literally right next door to the Omni and i had some time to kill. It is pretty cool. A lot bigger than i had expected. Lots of interactive stuff. And yes, kids would absolutely love it. Especially the end. You get to kick a FG, throw/catch a few passes on a half-sized football field. OK…so I'm still a kid at heart.

Here's a pic of the last part of the tour...

You can become the announcer for some of the greatest college football plays ever. Had a UT friend that called the Auburn FG return to beat Bama. "Nick Saban is an idiot! Nick Saban is an idiot! Nick Saban is an idiot."
