It's happened twice before. Both times at home, both times against Iowa, both times by 20 points. 1/22/55, a 93-73 win. And 2/23/85, a 78-58 win.

There were a few 18 pointers, most notably of course against that Magic Johnson guy.

So this is our largest margin of victory away from home against a ranked opponent. Polls started in 1949, so they missed our National championship season of 1931. (Yes, we still should recognize that!!!)

Now ... 19-point LOSSES against nationally ranked teams .... well there's been a few.

That 1985 game was my Freshman year. If I remember right, Andre Goode was unstoppable in his last home game. Left us wondering where that team had been all year as it was only our second win in conference.

I was waiting for Texas to explode in the second half. It never felt like a 10 pt lead. Unbelievably fast and athletic.

ND is going to be a very tough game. Glad we got the Texas win.
