I may start a recruiting news business and see how many followers I can get. Totally made up info, keeping it vague, "according to my sources," crystal ball, etc.
Louisville has maybe, 30,000 fans. Cool uniforms in the 80s and 90s though.

Anybody can start up a podcast or info site. A couple of years ago when my son was in the 7th grade he started a podcast about Kentucky basketball for a school project. He's even went back and forth with a locally well-known sports radio host over politics.

After getting a bunch of followers off the KSR name he subscribed to a bunch of websites with insider info then presented as his own on his KSR website and built an empire.
It’s absolutely doable, subscribe to Trilly, Cats Illustrated and a few other, keep your ear to what twitter insiders are saying, dish out a bit of info but be vague and you too can do the same and maybe even gain a cult following.
