Rattler waits too long to throw to deep receivers, and continuously underthrows, ball just floats.. Lloyd is limping

Forget any so-called program changing wins we’ve had in the last two games. This is a stunningly awful performance. This loss is as negatively impactful as the previous two wins were positively impactful.

You have seen Doty's stats, right? It's not even decent for garbage time.
As a freshman and injured. 8 and 5 is probably right at the bottom if the SEC. Doty may not be the answer but with this OL, we need a QB that can tuck it and go.

Finally!! He's going to need to do that more often. He has the ability.

JMHO again ----- But if I was coach, I would make Rattler watch tapes of Connor Shaw for 8 hrs a day. He can be Connor 2.0 ..... but one thing I don't understand with that run in was - why did he turn up field and run *INTO* defenders when all he had to do was make a B-line for the pylon and he would have walked in....... (maddening) But - we got em' right where we want em' now.... I can feel it. Trust me boys.

Rattler doesn't have the toughness, quickness or guts that Shaw had so I don't think watching a real QB on film would change him.

Satterfield walked up to Rattler after the TD. I bet he told him not to run with the ball again.
Satterfield is a buffoon. 2nd and 1, runs the ball with JuJu.
and Rattler agrees - that's the problem

Yikes. - (not disagreeing really) - But if I'm not mistaken Connor was the winningest QB in USC history - not because of his arm but his feet. Nothing there ??? > Run 5 yards get out of bounds. Seems like I remember Connor doing that over and over and over again.

He's worried about the response from the message board warriors if he would get injured running the ball. The whining of this board would be even more unbearable if the starter was out for the season.
If Rattler is not a threat to run it frees another defensive player to key on Lloyd or others. He has to occupy a defender for this offense to work.

We give up 254 yards to an offense that is worse than ours, and somehow it still comes back to firing Satterfield. LOL
Something like 35 yards and one first down on the first three series? That's on the D? The offense needs to take some responsibility. They have shared responsibility when it comes to time of possession. Offense didn't help in this category.
