Those offenses didn't look even.
Did you know that the Abeline Christian Wildcats scored 17 on Missouri? And Louisiana Tech scored 24 on them?
Dude, your view is severely skewed. After the half our defense played well enough for us to have a chance. And some of the points should not be there, as some of those came on the heels of a PI/INT that was non-existent.

Missouri offense averaged 22 points a game before tonight. So we held them to their average.
Their defense gives up 24 points per game. So we scored 2 TD's below their average.
Also, the Abeline Christian Wildcats scored 17 on them, while Louisiana Tech scored 24 on them.
If you've watched any games at all today, no legitimate college team runs an offense as bad as ours. Beamer has to know this and take some action. Public reprimand is not working!
Giving up 5.3 yards per play against a team with a top 25 defense will get you beat almost every time.

Sad. Like last year, I feel like we had our two lucky wins. (Auburn/Florida) this year it was (Kentucky/Texas) Get it in gear beamer. Don’t be Brad Scott or a Muschamp 2.0. We can’t depend on special teams and defensive turnovers to always win.
Scoring two tds below what they give up on average will too.
So will scoring less on them than Louisiana Teach and the Abeline Christian Wildcats.
Both those teams scored TDs late in the game when the game was already over. And I doubt they saw that Mizzou defense the entire game like we did. Stupid comparison.
The fact is that this offense is worse than ours, and it dominated our defense the entire game. Mizzou's defense is lightyears ahead of ours, and against similar ranked offenses, it's no surprise they won.
I believe that's 5 TDS and 9 ints for Rattled on the year so far. Clearly a #1 draft pick. Clearly the best QB we have. <smh>
That's not including several fumbles. In all fairness, he did have a running touchdown today.
Louisiana Tech scored two more TD's than we did. And even the lame excuse of them scoring garbage td's just makes us look worse for not being able to do it.
And the other team was the ABELINE CHRISTIAN WILDCATS. The fact that we're even using them as a comparison is embarrassing.

So, your assumption about their players makes up for the fact that Louisiana Tech scored exactly as much in 3 quarters that we did in the whole game? And that they managed two more td's in the 4th quarter that we couldnt?
