To your third question, I think he has handled things fairly well so far. Moved quickly to get Pitino ousted and is taking a more judicious approach with Jurich.
I don’t know or care if Dr. Postel will do the Homecoming honors. But I do imagine that the fact that so many “large” donors have jumped on the Jurich bandwagon has influenced Dr. Postel to be “judicious” in his dealings with Tom Jurich and the BOT. Make no mistake he (Dr. Postel) wants the “big job/prize” and he’s attempting to see what side his bread is buttered on. In other words, he is being political. I want Tom Jurich but I do not want Dr. Postel. Firing Rick Pitino was a complete no brainer and took no intestinal fortitude whatsoever. Reacting to Tom Jurich is another issue.

That's highly disrespectful to go after his wife who HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG. How is she crazy? Have you met her? Has she committed a crime? Has she had a history of mental illness?
Oh...I know...someone claimed to have seen her cheering for a sports team you do not like. You can disagree with his decisions and claim Postel has a decision, but that's a weak move to go after a man and his wife.
If you want to talk about L1C4, Dr. Postel has been with UofL longer than Jurich..but some continue to think he is some mole trying to bring UofL down.

Perhaps you could express the same level of condemnation on your own board when a UK poster attacks any member of our program's family...like a football coaches gay son (Bobby Petrino Jr.), a basketball coaches wife (Joann Pitino), or basketball players father (Peyton Siva Jr.). Apologies if you can show/link when you stood up for innocent bystanders on your own board.

I think individuals are responsible for what they say and shouldn't be lumped in with each other based on what team they cheer for board they are registered on on Rivals.
If I see something wrong or too far I will post, but then again CatIllustrated is way more populated than this place and I can't see everything. I did post several times to stop the John Higgins stuff, which I found embarrassing. But I really haven't seen an attack on a UofL family member, but I have no doubt there have been posters that have and won't deny that there are fans over there that have posted things that have crossed lines.
I did not know anything about Bobby's son, nor do I care about anyone's sexuality. I took a picture with Siva's father at the tourney matchup a few years back...I've never seen any UK fans say negative things about Siva personally, like Charlie Strong he was well liked. I have a funny story about Joanna Pitino that I won't post on here that involves a family friend and Rick himself from the 90's(PM for details it is a good story if you think UK fans go too far and love Rick).

Look it's just petty stuff. Did we scrutinized Denny Crum's wives, Howard's wife, John L's? I'm sure they weren't all U of L alums and they can cheer for whoever they want. It just so happens we are talking about the kitties. If this was a public appearance representing the University of Louisville and openly cheered for UK against U of L not some other opponent, then I would say shame on you and Mr Postel, but I still wouldn't tar and feather them.
