He's a good coach. About like Holgorsen. Good, but not great. He had to clean up a mess left behind by the Snider regime. He's done a good job for them. Why the animosity?

I love these type of troll posts by the OP.

Whether anybody wanted Doc here or not...and I did not....isn't moronic to judge a coach on just one game?

Last time I checked Marshall was 9-3 and bowl bound...but hey...lets ignore that because they got trounced today.

No, and I've never wanted him ever, for anything.

The fact he sat in a booth with the worst offensive coordinator in WVU history and didn't kill him to help our offense was all the proof I needed to see to know he could never be a head coach at WVU.

Let him stay where he is, or go to UCF, or do whatever he wants as long as he isn't on a WVU sideline.

lol honestly, he employed the worst OC in WVU's history (Bill Legg) to be his OC at Marshall.

considering what he's got to work with in Huntington playing a CUSA schedule, he's done quite well. He's a masterful recruiter. I'm sure he would do well at a P5 school
Losing a single game with that schedule is pitiful. When we had four losses, their fans were all high and mighty. Now that they have lost to two teams ranked 90+ and a very average WKU team, they are nowhere to be found. Holliday is a good recruiter, but there is a reason he has never been a head coach above a DIAA quality team...

Bill Legg only really stunk it up one season and really other than having Scotty McBrian throwing a pick vs Cuse in 2000 that ultimately should NEVER have even been called let alone thrown, he wasn't totally dreadful. My Lord though you're correct Donald EUGENE Nehlen even said there should not have a pass thrown there at that point in that game.

STILL That moron Jeff Mullen was horrible & the worst and his 2nd half adjustments were none. Just look at the offensive output in the 2nd half while he was here, and that was vs the Big Least defenses. He was so far out of his league. No wonder Jim Grobe "recommended" him. I'd want to "recommend" him for every job I could.

Holliday sat next to him for 2 seasons in the booth and at the very least should have been caught on camera strangling Mullen for all that stupid presnap motion bs when all you're runnin is stupid bubble screens, qb draw, & read option in the belly with a 165# rb. The fact he didn't go Joe Pecsi with a ball bat on him was proof Doc didn't know wtf he was doing either. At least have a Buddy Ryan vs Kill Gilbride confrontation to show you think the play calling sucked.

wbgvwbgv, what is your obsession with using the term "low information fans"? Getting old dude. Think of something more original. People may take you seriously.

He did wonders against a top 150 ranked schedule. Just imagine what he could do against a top 25 ranked schedule. Non qualifiers galore! No were good but thanks for asking.

Really like the Holiday and Dana straw above. Good laugh. Give me one win Holiday has as good as any win Holgorsen has and tell us again how Holliday is like Dana good but not great.

Because he very negatively recruited against WVU if not outright lied--against his alma mater! Because he tried to take all he could from WVU when he left. Because he is a douchebag.

We saw what WKU did to Marshall. What would happen to them if they played a B12 schedule? Texas Tech would probably smoke them along with most teams in the conference. Texas probably beats Marshall.

With our schedule, Marshall would have two wins -- they would beat Kansas and probably split Maryland and Liberty.

You gotta think Holiday's lobbying hard for the MD or Miami positions. With so many open jobs this season, I'm sure he could slip in somewhere.

My goodness...................that's the way the world is these days. It's dog eat dog and it's all about the money! Getting ahead is all the Doctor was trying to do. Rich Rod is the master at the game. Lies are the new truth.
