I've been seeing the ads and would like to know the answer to this also. It looks good on the TV!

The Arby’s cheesesteak also looked good on TV… looked nothing like that when I bought it. And, it tasted like sh*t. My advice… go to Burger King

They actually make a pretty good Reuben. At least the one I had about 8 years ago was good. Not sure what possessed me to try it.

Yeah, that was my first reaction to your post, “What were you thinking?”

How dumb was that! It’s like going to KFC and bitching about how bad their lasagna is!!

It's not like anyone outside of PA has a clue how to make one in the first place. They always suck. There's one good spot in Tampa Bay and low and behold they are also in Delco. They're called Delco's.

Ask Jon Stewart. 😆 For context, Stewart has 1.5M followers on Twitter and only follows two accounts himself - one is his podcast and the other is Arby's (and I assume it's a joke lol).

Wellllll....my experience is to never order a "cheesesteak" from a fast food restaurant, supermarket or any other place that has no business making something and calling it a cheesesteak.

Case in point....Publix supermarkets make excellent subs but I would never order a Philly there.

got my first ever Philly at Jersey Mike's and nothing close to what I have had in PA. Even though Jersey is adjacent it ain't PA.

Haven't tried it yet.... but I love their roast beef sandwiches. Especially the beef and cheddar.

They used to have the Big Montana... was my favorite.

Used to really love the Ar-B-Que sandwiches; not sure they have them anymore but basically barbequed chip/chopped roast beef. I think Arby's is solid for fast food - their buffalo chicken sandwich and Italian hoagies are pretty good, and they have a good variety it items (compared to say, Chick Fil A).

"Big Montana"....she used to hang out at The Phyrst on Saturday nites!
The Arby's cheesesteak is awful. The burger is ok. I had it on the last go around. I would not go out of my way to order it but I would consider getting it if I was in an Arby's. I generally like the beef n cheddars, the mozzarella sticks and the jalapeño poppers.

I actually found Jersey Mike's to be a passable cheesesteak.

Is it comparable to the best PA places....obviously not. But it is at least fairly authentic, made on an actual flat top griddle.

I'll actually order the Philly there but prefer their Italian and tuna more.
