I watched most of them. I love football.

I thought the quality of play was about equal to mid major college ball.

I do like the XFL PAT rules - no kicks, 1 point attempt from the 2 yard-line; 2 point attempt from the 5; 3 point attempt from the 10.

I also like the onside kick rule of giving the teams the option to either attempt an onside kick or have one play to convert a 4th and 15, which allows that team to keep possession if the play is successful. That rule is only allowed in the fourth quarter.

One of the teams led 15-3 with 3 minutes to go and lost 18-15 because the other team scored a TD (15-9), converted a 3 point PAT (15-12), completed the 4th and 15 onside, and scored a TD pretty much as time expired (18-15).

If you expect NFL caliber play, don’t watch it. Same with the USFL.

The last 3 minutes of that St Louis San Antonio game made me a fan. The tweaked rules made that comeback really fun to watch.

Thank you. I might need to tune in towards the end of a couple games.

The only thing I hate is that those tweaked rules got the idea from watching Kentucky football endings……. aside from that factoid I do think the San Bernidino Safe Spaces are going to be wildly entertaining to make fun of in the off season. D-line coach Michael Sam is a guy who will have his boys prepared to go after those tight ends aggressively,…… should be decent at playing D against the large receivers too!

According to the ratings at least 5 of you watch it.
I've watched some, but yeah, the ratings are bad. Unless you're a hardcore football fan, people aren't going to watch this without having any emotional attachment to the teams and with the weather starting to warm up the viewership is going to fall off even more. Like others have said, I enjoy the rules of it and would like to see the NFL adopt some of them.

I watch college and NFL. I use football off season to do more things around house and outside when warmer. It's football but it's boring minor league football.

BATTLEHAWKS BABY!

it’s fine to have on in the background, but I wouldn’t say I’m a fan. I’m glad it’s out of the WWE’s clutches. I do think there could eventually be a market. The rule changes are mostly good ones and could trickle up the NFL.

Somebody said mid-level college ball? It's above college. These are professional players.

Some fans, sure. Not this one, and not the fans I hang with. I prefer to watch my team win straight up. And I don’t like seeing college kids get hurt.

Anyone know how well funded the league is? Are they going to be able to survive?
The XFL has been a thing since like year 2002 or something. It'll never die i dont guess lol.
The Rock has tied his name to it so I mean it's not going anywhere.

And the biggest thing is live TV is what rules the roost nowadays. Even if they just get a few hundred thousand viewers LIVE it's better than what they get from a rerun on TV..
They want you to watch commercials while you're engaged to the game.... The memory works better then 💯

It's been pretty solid so far. Not as fun as the 2020 version, but the mediocre football mixed with the rule changes makes for a chaotic but a fun game to watch.

It’s pretty entertaining and I need something once basketball is over. Have watched about half the games so far.

If they could find a tie in with the nfl on one of these leagues, like the g league, they might get some interested fans from the nfl watching to check out who else they have in development.
