Anyone watching FX series Taboo?

DD, I made it half way through and I couldn't figure out jack **** with it.
It lost me. Unless it opens up after episode 1, I think I may just have to pass on it. Which was a bummer because I really like some of the previews

Yeah, I couldn't figure out the incest thing there. Still confused about that.
Hell, I'll go and finish the first episode and give it another shot. Dammit, there better be killing and slaughter in episode 2.
lots of blood and sinister activities going on. James Delaney is quite the badass, and then he went to Africa and learned the satan worshipping/conjuring.

I caught an episode. Couldn't help but notice they were dropping F-bombs left and right. Perhaps I'm behind in the times, Didn't realize they were allowed to do that.
It still has a chance to be decent, until the moment Sean drops by to give it a Seal of Approval.
We've been DVRing it and finally got caught up last night. This is our favorite current show. Another in a long line of great FX series. The best network on TV for the last 10 years or so. We give every FX series a chance, and they usually deliver.
Between the british accents, the terms and phrases from 200 years ago, and Tom Hardy's mumbling delivery, the only way to watch is with the closed captioning turned on.
I like it. Seems that any series aired on FX or AMC is really top notch. I give it 2 [thumb2]
Hardy does tend to mumble. I have to turn the volume up when watching in order not to miss anything.
Upon reflection, I am not sure that Delaney did not have a relationship with the cross-dresser spy too...
