I guess the anti UofL bias includes the women's basketball team. Here's a program that has been ranked every year since 2016 and was ranked #7 in the preseason, being treated like a up and comer program.
So the Cards lost 4 games early against a top schedule and they fall out of the rankings. That's fine. They probably deserved it how they were playing, but three polls later the Cards are not back in the rankings despite having won 4 in a roll.
During the DePaul game the announcers a few times were saying Louisville would still challenge for the ACC title and a #1 seed. But the AP voters apparently see it differently.
Think about it. Do you really believe Uconn or South Carolina would be treated this way? Louisville still has the all American, the top grad transfers, a ton of tournament experience, and a deep, talented team. Everything that had them ranked #7 and a final 4 team last year.
One would think the AP voters would have had them back in the poll just a week after falling out. Next week would be a full month if they leave the Cards out.
