I've been spending some time tonight catching up on the BTN shows after the game yesterday.
I can live with some of these analysts who show a bit of bias toward their college team if it's not over the top. For instance, the Whining Illini in Stephen Bardo comes out a bit every once in awhile.
However, Raphael Davis, the former Purdue player, has been all over BTN since the game ended yesterday (postgame, ... and Beyond, BTN Today) and he's been wonderfully objective. You can barely tell he ever played for Painter. He has some nice insight into Purdue's direction, but keeps it pretty professional. He could have really been making excuses and little jabs, but it's been a nice surprise.
Jess Settles should be taking some notes.
