Near Shawneetown and Wickliffe isn't bad in KY.

Not too far from the eclipse in Hopkinsville a few years back. Had a good view of that one from when I lived on the border in Clarksville, TN at the time.

I wish Owensboro was in the path of totality. My parents would love to see it but my dad is at the point that if it involves getting off the couch hes out.

Western Daviess gets a few seconds. Henderson 2 and.a half minutes. Santa Claus probably 3 minutes.

Owensboro missed 2017 and this one by a hair. Carbondale, Illinois which is 2 hours west gets 4 minutes this time and near three minutes last time. Maxed out both times. I would really like to go to garden of the gods to watch it, but I'm afraid there will be too many people.

in 2017 I lived in Lexington (for 3 more days) and drove to Hopkinsville. Stayed with my parents the night before so it'd be easier to get up early and get down there. Stayed the night again because I knew traffic would be a nightmare. Took me like 5 hours to get back to Owensboro. Glad I didn't even try to go to Lexington. Now I'm right outside Louisville. Figure it'd be easy to pop up somewhere like French Lick and get back home fairly easily

actually didn't even realize Henderson was on the list. Might just go there and at least bring my mom with me.

I was in Gracey. Because I know every back road I got home in about 30 or 45 minutes longer than it would have taken me. I felt sorry for people sitting on parkways.
