Sportscenter opens with video of our game and they say they're going to cover "Kentucky and Indiana". Then they don't even talk about our game!!! It was highlights of Charles and Dickie V!!!!! They didn't say anything about the actual game, I don't think they even put up the final score. No mention of the comeback, just random clips that were focused on their commentary instead of the actual game. Imagine if this was a Duke game, would they care one bit that it was that combination calling the game!?

Didn't care for them minimizing the game screen to show live video of Chuck and Vitale broadcasting in the corner while the game was being played. We can hear them without the need of seeing them during live game action. ESPN promoted the game as much about Barkley & Vitale as they did the actual game. I don't hate the two of them, I just don't care for ESPN and how they believe their personalities are the star of the show over the actual athletes.

The game itself was basically 90 percent Vitale and Barkley reminiscing and 10 percent talking about the game in front of them.😐😐

In this particular game it was true though.
Vitale and Barkley together for an unranked matchup was a bigger "sell" nationally than the actual basketball game.

I thought it was a very entertaining game, and have always liked Barkley, Dickey V is getting old, and probably won't be doing it much longer. They both know basketball, and this year the truth just hurts. It was Ky and Indiana, and at least ESPN put legends of the game broadcasting, that shows respect for how big the game still is IMO.

Which is why I only watch ESPN for the game, I stopped watching the other crap years ago.

Love Dicky V, but I can't stand when he does games anymore. If it's a duke game, he actually does his job, but if it's anyone else, he just jabbers on about crap like what Jay Will did in 2001, or the good ole days.

HOWEVER, the segment when Barkley asked if Pitino ever won a title at Louisville and Vitale said "I don't think so, I don't remember if he did"… that was funny as hell.

I wasn't looking for ours, just catching up on other teams and leagues. I always watch the highlights with Leach whenever I watch ours
That totally contradicts what you said in your OP. You were upset that they didn't talk about the game, or the comeback.

It’s the goal of ESPN to try to be the entertainment instead of the game of the actual game

If you’re for your team or watch the game. ESPN has left you ad a fan years ago

It is Duke and occasionally another ranked team. Until we are ranked and beating good teams we are their garbage. The best thing is NEVER watch Sports Center.

I would rather be happy about a win against a historical rival than ***** about another loss. But that’s just me.
Why can’t both be true: happy about a win rather than a loss but also not wanting to make a big deal of it on Sportscenter like it should be a rare treasure for us?
