Area codes off the helmets.

So, everyone is okay with pro football players having their college on the helmet, but not area codes on college players? Seems if those former huskers are concerned with “team” in the NFL, they wouldn’t do an I move and put huskers there, they’d put their team.

True. I don't want them on my pro team's helmets either. Just cool because we are Husker fans.

I liked the area codes, but I wonder if Frost is trying to eliminate things that get compared to his time at UCF.
Yep. Im fine with it if that is the reason. I could see him wanting to create a different team identity vs carrying over stuff from UCF. I definitely think there is more to it than just a simple I wanted them off just because.

I think the area codes on the helmets is a great idea. When I played high school football I wish we could have had township names on our helmets.
