Arizona St. Vs Duke

Don't love the matchup early, but do you think Duke is better than the Zion team? Duke is an AWFUL matchup, but ASU is hot garbage (66-26 in the second half, means they mailed it in, because it's an exhibition game). I give Kentucky a 42.5% chance at winning against Duke. Just hope we don't see 118-84 again. I think Kentucky will improve throughout the year, so by the end, who knows.
The way we shoot the ball we can beat anyone.

I think you are falling into the Calipari trap. You see a bunch of flashy young talent and believe they will beat everyone. For years we have wanted a team and a coach and we now have that, for once we go into this matchup being battle tested and a team that can shoot. It hasn’t even been long enough to see trends or weaknesses yet. At some point a defensive strategy will be established to try and limit Flagg and who know how good their guard play is yet.
He had flashes that showed why he is a quality recruit. But definitely made a few youthful mistakes. Dukes big spiked his shot a few times but showed a very high motor and kept going back at them.
With time he still can be a very good player, but I believe he’ll jump to the NBA before his game is ready.
I think this year’s version is definitely more complete than that one - better outside shooting, deeper, and better defensively. We should be far more ready to play that we were against Zion and co. though.

I think this team is more complete than the 2019 team. The 2019 duke team had more star power.
I might be, I think more of my reasoning is being that Duke will have the best player in the floor and in early season games I lean with the team that has the best player

For sure, but I think we can also agree pope has to prove it. He hasn’t don’t anything yet. Like we have to see him win a game like this first before we get cocky and say he Is gonna win them all the time
Of course not, we wil see how we respond tomorrow. I love what I’ve seen so far and I like the makeup of this team.
I remember Rupp's strategy when playing LSU, when LSU clearly had the best player on the floor in Pistol Pete Maravich. I'm gonna take solace in knowing that we actually have a real coach on the bench and that's something we haven't seen in Lexington in quite a while. 2019 could not shoot. They did against us, and against Virginia, and you saw the results. Top-end talent matters, and Duke has more of it right now. I am not gonna be upset if we lose, but we cannot have a repeat of 2018.
I agree, this Duke team this year is gonna be good. Kentucky losing in a close game is no indictment on them
Heck no. My only concern with the Duke game with athleticism gap early. If the 3s are falling Kentucky can beat Duke for sure. I watched Duke highlights after ours and honestly the key to beating them is neutralizing knuepple he is their best offensive player
