I think Arkansas could come in and play well for a bit but I really don't think they shoot well enough to stay with us.

I hope it's a bigger blowout than that. But I don't think Pope will run it up.
Agree I'd love to blow their doors off, but Pope won't do that he'll empty the bench.

Kentucky easily with their offense and Cal's horrible switching defense.

This has all the makings of Arkansas having their best shooting game of the year and the game coming down to the wire.
Agree. They (Arky) will make shots they normally don't. If our 3 point shooters are on we will win by more than 10 but it's not gonna be easy imo.
I do not like Arky or their coach but they will be better than we expect.
Nevertheless. A UK win!

We get a healing Butler back Saturday I hope! And he has his 2nd best game as a Cat after Uof L. Davis, Knox, and Wagner build a brick house with their shooting. Cal's ineptitude as a coach against Coach Pope's game plan strategy and halftime adjustments lead to a score of...

Pope will put Arkansas into ball screen action all night long. Our shooters are going to be open, we just need them to fall. I think Arkansas has an above average shooting night, loses steam around the 5 minute mark.

I think it'll be a close game, actually.

Just seems like a game where Thiero will be able to do whatever he wants (Almonor is way slower and less athletic to matchup with him).

Seems like Davis (knowing our luck) will have a breakout game finally.

Wagner and Big Z will be comfortable in that environment having played here, etc.

Just seems like a recipe for us potentially not being able to ever pull away and maybe Arkansas is a threat to win it at the end.

Especially because we might be overconfident now coming off the TN game.

I'm expecting Arkansas to play their best game of the year, for our shots not to be falling, and to get a few bad bounces and/or calls. That will make it a close, ugly game and come down to the last 5 minutes. I'll take anything that's a win. I'm totally happy even if just a 1 pt victory.

As crazy as it sounds, with all of the actions UK runs, Calipari will have to switch to a zone. He has no idea how to scout our offense.

My son and I are flying out of Tampa at 1:30 and landing in Lexington at 5:30-Lord Willing!!! We wanted to be a part of this environment.

Usually after a big win, we do not play well, not sure what causes that , mental fatigue, not staying focused, over confident, not sure, I look for a below average shooting night for us. I just hope Rupp is really loud
With Cal coming to town, I think they will be plenty focused. I think some guys on UK will feel a little slighted. Mainly because the players who played here last year and the recruits that had signed followed Cal. They may feel like the only reason they are at UK is because those guys bolted. So they may try to make a statement because of so many players with previous UK ties left. It did them a favor by those guys leaving giving them a chance to play at a big time program, but lets face it, if those 5/7 players didn't leave for Arkansas, NONE of the guys would be at UK (except maybe Jaxson Robinson following Pope). I think they go out and try to prove a point.

Think it might be close simply because Ark will be up for this game and we just won a big one at UT.

We need to keep our heads on straight and not fall behind by 14 points at the half.
