Drake Jackson (@THE_DRAKE_52) and Kash Daniel (@KashDaniel15) have been named two of the four captains for the U.S. Army game's West team.
Is it possible Kash will be too good to redshirt?
More than possible. He was told to expect 2nd string snaps this spring behind Love. I suspect he shares those with at least one other, but it is clear the staff wants to give him a good hard look.
It is hard not to get excited about these young men. Go Cats!!Count me in the camp of people who believe this. I think he'll get reps behind Love, and I believe Jordan Jones will get reps behind Ware.
He's got arms that look like he's already been spending a lot of time in a college weight room.More than possible. He was told to expect 2nd string snaps this spring behind Love. I suspect he shares those with at least one other, but it is clear the staff wants to give him a good hard look.

Have said in others posts, but I will be surprised if Landon is not starting by at least the middle of next season. I think his size and talent outweighs anyone on the current roster's experience level. Meadows better commit 110% to this offseason because his starting job is in trouble. The tackles performed so poorly last season its hard not to see possibly the best tackle prospect KY has had in a very long time not starting over the current roster of tackles (unless a RS comes out of nowhere).
If Daniel has the speed to match the build - look out!!
I hope he isn't Micah Johnson part 2
Are there any rumblings that the players are recruiting with any success while at the camp?
Well dang. At least the success at the game this year will open the eyes of future recruits. Anyone else think the 2017 class goes very well?
I plan to attend practice tomorrow at Blossom Athletic Center here in San Antonio. There is a buzz here about the Kentucky kids. I remember when Micah Johnson played in the All American Bowl as a 4-star player attending Kentucky. Most of the players made fun of the fact he was attending UK and some actively tried to recruit him to other schools. To see the respect and admiration in the press for the Kentucky kids bodes well for our football future and the university.Just goes to show what kind of players we're getting. Representing the state and the university very well. As a fan, I'm really proud that they're doing so well!

We have not lost him yet! Will know soon! ( Kobe Smith will either enroll in January at either South Carolina or in Lexington! I think we will still get him! His main concern is playing time and SouthCarolina has other higher rated targets ahead of him!Huh, bout as good of news I've ever heard of as far as UK recruiting goes, at positions we desperately need it. If young can somehow get in the rotation next season and at least be an upgrade over these lineman last season (I think GAA will be good). But if young can somehow contribute that would be something great. Not counting on it though a true freshman in the SEC regardless of how great of a prospect is just almost always too much to ask of at the OL position in this league. The schemes, strength, speed, and talent of these SEC defenses is just a crazy transition from high school. Probably will need at least a year to learn. But if he can play then who knows.
Anyways if we can move GAA back to gaurd, have leavitt at LT, and young in the rotation at RT next season. We could have a decent OL next season though I'm not really sold on schlarman yet. But the future of the offensive line does look bright. Losing that NT commit really hurt us though, (for some reason already forgot his name, kode smith maybe? Lol. watched the footage on him forever ago and man). A truly crazy physical specimen that we couldn't afford to lose at a position we desperately need players. Very glad to see Kentucky boys like kash and young turning heads, proves it doesnt matter the level kash is playing against, he's a truly special player in the making that we're truly lucky to have. Kid pretty much dreamed of playing at Kentucky and the guy could probably go anywhere and make an impact, could end up being a star in the league one day who knows. So excited to see what he brings.
Has 4.65 speed, which is outstanding for a linebacker
